Yeager House is a delightful three bedroom cottage located on the site of the 1861
Civil War Battle of Greenbrier River in Bartow WV. The house is on the historic
Staunton-to-Parkersburg Turnpike and was built  in 1898 by Peter Dilly Yeager
for his son William and his new bride. The house sits in a valley surrounded by
the Allegheny Mountains and the Monongahela National Forest in beautiful
Pocahontas County, WV.

The house sleeps six. It is fully furnished and all amenities are provided: linens,
paper products, hair dryer, washer & dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a
fully equipped kitchen including microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker -- with
filters. For your relaxation there is a TV (though no cable) and DVD player, magazines,
books and games. There is no cell phone service in the area but there is a landline and
WiFi is available.  The house is heated and  air-conditioned to ensure comfort in all

 There are three comfortable bedrooms. Two have double beds, one has twin beds.  All have comforters and blankets for cooler weather.
The patio has a table and chairs and a charcoal grill.
